After completing a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, Catherine worked in management for the Olive Garden restaurants for several years, specializing in streamlining and upgrading food cost and quality control in various locations.

After re-locating to Vancouver in 1996 and managing in other industries Catherine became even more passionate about business management process improvement and went on to obtained her Certified Management Accounting designation in 2003. She has worked with private and public, profit and non-profit organizations and developed successfully strategic initiatives as well as business and financial process improvement in financial roles with companies such as Canadian Broadcast Corporation and Grey Northwest Advertising (Division of Grey). Catherine joined Bean services in May 2009 as the Client Development Manager. She is currently the Bean Team’s General Manager and Chief Bean Counter.
